Description
The Angus 1.5 is a new dry herb vaporizer with a ‘bright’ future. The original Angus 1.0 has been upgraded with a vastly superior cooling unit made of high-end materials that improve airflow, make even tastier vapour with a greater ease of cleaning.
The Angus uses a halogen element coupled with a pair of removable 18650 batteries and glass beads to heat your herb of choice through convective and radiation heating to produce amazingly tasty vapour. The build quality of the Angus is equally impressive…it is a very durable device. The Angus is contructed of high-quality materials encased in a walnut body. The vapour path is isolated from contact with the vaporizers electrical parts.
The vape turns on with three clicks of the starter button. The Angus will come up to full heat within a minute (takes a little time to warm up the glass beads) ; the vape will vibrate to let you know when it is ready for use. You have the option of selecting one of five operating temperatures (180C, 190C, 200C, 210C, 220C (356F, 375F, 395F, 410F, 428F)). Each temperature has a 10C ‘boost’ that is activated by just holding down the button until the vape vibrates again.
The vapour travels a long path to provide excellent native cooling. An optional Water Pipe Adaptor is available here (https://www.soothingvapours.ca/product/angus-water-pipe-adaptor/) if you prefer to use your Angus with favourite water piece.
When necessary, the Angus can be charged using the supplied USB-C cable. A full charge should allow up to 10 sessions before the batteries are exhausted (depending on the state of your batteries and your style of use).
The Angus is designed with a safety feature that provides a 5 minutes constant heating temperature time; after this time, you can simply press the start button to keep vaping or allow the device to turn off.

There is strong evidence to suggest that the Angus will perform best with two matched batteries i.e. quality batteries that are dedicated to this device and that are charged together. Imbalance in the batteries or using mismatched or poor/old batteries will adversely affect the duration and quality of your session with the Angus.
